Order and Chaos are the most fundamental elements of lived experience

When life suddenly reveals itself as intense, gripping and meaningful; when time passes and you’re so engrossed in what you’re doing you don’t notice – it is there and then that you are located precisely on the border between order and chaos.

Chaos is the experience of reeling unbound and unsupported through space when your guiding routines and traditions collapse. Order is the place and time where the oft-invisible axions you live by organize your expereince and your actions so that what should happen does happen.

We eternally inhabit order, surounded by chaos. w eternally occupy known territory, surrounded by the unknown. We expereince meaningful engagement when we mediate appropriately between them – the process that mediates between the two appears identical to what modern people call consciousness.
